Privacy Policy

The Time with My Parents Secretariat handles user information, including personal information of customers (hereinafter referred to as "Users"), in the services provided by the Secretariat (hereinafter referred to as "this Service") in accordance with the following policy.

Article 1: Collection of User Information

The Secretariat may collect the following user information in this Service with the consent of the user.

(1) Information entered by users to use various functions within this Service, such as:

• Information necessary for app usage
  • Name (nickname), date of birth or age
• Information registered in schedules
  • Title, date and time, participants

(2) Information collected by the Secretariat when users use this Service

The Secretariat may collect information about access to this Service and how it is used. This includes the following information:

• Approximate location
• Device ID
• Product interactions
• Advertising data
• Crash data
• Performance data

Article 2: Method of Notification/Publication or Consent Acquisition, and Method of Requesting Suspension of Use

1. For the following user information, the user's consent shall be obtained before its collection.

• User ID
• Advertising ID

2. Users may request the suspension of collection or use of all or part of their user information by configuring the prescribed settings of this Service. In such cases, we will promptly suspend its use in accordance with our regulations. Please note that for certain items of user information, their collection or use is a prerequisite for this Service, so we will only suspend their collection or use when the user suspends the use of this Service through our prescribed method.

The Secretariat may use the collected user information for the following purposes:

• For authentication when using this Service
• To provide this Service and user-oriented services
• To respond to acts that violate the terms and conditions of the Secretariat regarding this Service
• For research, analysis, and improvement aimed at improving this Service
• To communicate matters that significantly affect this Service (significant changes to the content of this Service, temporary suspension, etc.)
• To respond to inquiries and other communications regarding this Service
• To provide information about the Secretariat's services that are deemed beneficial to users, as well as products and services of advertisers and partner companies, including advertisements
• For other purposes similar to the above purposes of use

Article 5: Backup Functions

• Does not have a function to back up to iCloud
• Backup is possible by users exporting data

Article 6: Provision of User Information to Third Parties

1. The Secretariat will not provide personal information among user information to third parties without obtaining the user's prior consent, except when disclosure is permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations. However, this does not apply to the following cases:

• When entrusting all or part of the handling of personal information to the extent necessary for the purpose of use
• When personal information is provided in connection with business succession due to merger or other reasons
• When a warrant or other legal document is presented
• Other cases permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations

2. The Secretariat may provide or disclose statistical information that does not identify individuals among user information to third parties.

Article 7: Transfer of User Information

The Secretariat transfers user information collected outside Japan to Japan for processing and storage within Japan. In such cases, for personal information among user information, the Secretariat will take appropriate measures necessary for the protection of personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Article 8: Response to Requests for Disclosure of Personal Information

When the Secretariat receives a request from a user for disclosure, correction, deletion, or restriction of handling of personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Secretariat will respond within a reasonable period after confirming that the request is from the user themselves. However, this does not apply when the Secretariat is not obligated to do so under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations. Please note that consent regarding the handling of personal information can be withdrawn at any time. If you do not consent to the handling of personal information, this Service will not be provided for some services that require registration of personal information.

Article 9: Retention Period of Personal Information

The Secretariat retains and uses user information for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of use.

Article 10: Procedures for Revising the Privacy Policy

When the Secretariat revises the content of the Privacy Policy, the revised Privacy Policy will be posted on the Secretariat's website. It will be made available from within the app through "More > Privacy Policy" in the bottom menu. In the case of changes that legally require user consent, the Secretariat will obtain user consent through the method prescribed by the Secretariat.
