Terms of Use for “Simple Flashlight EZ”

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) define the rights and obligations between the user (hereinafter referred to as “User”) and the developer (hereinafter referred to as “Developer”) regarding the use of the “Simple Flashlight EZ” application (hereinafter referred to as “App”).

Article 2 (User Registration)

The App does not require user registration and can be used immediately upon download.

Article 3 (App Features)

The App provides the following functions:

  • Turning the smartphone’s camera flashlight on and off
  • Automatic light-off by timer function

Article 4 (Usage Fees)

The App is provided free of charge.

Article 5 (Use of Permissions)

The App uses the following permissions:

  • Camera permission: To enable the flashlight function
  • Vibration permission: For feedback when operating the App

These permissions are used solely for implementing the App’s functions and will not be used for any other purpose.

Article 6 (Handling of Personal Information)

  • The App does not collect, store, or transmit personal information
  • No data collection is conducted for analytics or advertising purposes
  • All settings are stored only within the device

Article 7 (Prohibited Acts)

User shall not engage in the following acts:

  1. Using the App for illegal purposes
  2. Using the App to cause inconvenience to others
  3. Abusing the App’s functions
  4. Modifying, reverse engineering, or otherwise analyzing the App

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

  1. Developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from User’s use of the App, except in cases of Developer’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence
  2. The App is provided on an “as is” basis, and Developer does not guarantee the completeness or continuity of its operation
  3. Developer shall not be responsible for device malfunctions, failures, or battery consumption caused by using the App

Article 9 (Changes and Termination of Service)

Developer may change the contents of the App or terminate its provision without prior notice to User.

Article 10 (Amendment of Terms)

Developer may amend these Terms as necessary. The revised Terms shall take effect from the time of update in the app store.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan
  2. Any disputes arising in connection with the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance

Article 12 (Miscellaneous)

  1. Even if any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect
